HMK appoints new Graduate Engineer

HMK Automation & Drives has recently appointed Ashley Wiggins as a Graduate Engineer.  Ashley’s role at HMK involves such tasks as technical support for customers, contract checking, writing PLC software, site visits to service a machine or commissioning of an existing machine and customer software training.

After studying Mathematics, Further Pure Mathematics, Physics and Computing to A Level at Bury College, Ashley has recently completed a 4 year degree in MEng/BEng Mechatronic and Robotics at Leeds University.

Ashley comments: “I was initially attracted to this role because of its similarities with my interests and university course.  I enjoy programming and control engineering and so this role seemed ideal for me.  The large scope of industries and projects involved was also a deciding factor in choosing this graduate position.  The work is challenging and very interesting with everyday presenting something new. The support from the team at HMK has been fantastic.”
