H​MK Team rise to the challenge at baking fundraiser

The HMK Team have risen to the challenge to raise money for a worthy cause.

We recently hosted a coffee and cake morning at our Congleton headquarters, raising £212 for Macmillan – a charity which supports people living with cancer.

Gary Kitchin, HMK Managing Director, said: “A big well done to all those who baked, bought and donated at our coffee and cake morning. We thought we’d mix in a bit of bake-off style fun, ranking the treats on offer, and we have some real star bakers amongst the team – the cakes were all delicious, and of course eaten very quickly.

“Macmillan is wonderful charity, so we’re very proud to be able to support them in this way. The coffee morning was also a great opportunity to catch-up with colleagues and enjoy a brew and a cake while raising money for a good cause. We also donated a selection of cakes to a local old people's home."
