HMK launches remote training programme during lockdown
HMK has launched a new remote training programme to continue to connect with customers during the lockdown.
Our team of expert engineers already provide remote support to customers by utilising intelligent Internet-based remote access products, including Team Viewer and eWON.
Now we’ve shifted our online operations up a gear to provide online product training courses for our entire range of Siemens SINAMICS drives and motion controllers.
Nick Calow, Technical Director at HMK, said: “HMK is very much open for business and that includes the broad range of specialist training programmes for our core Siemens products that we offer to our customers.
“Thanks to our investment in the very latest remote access technology, we’ve been able to respond quickly to the new Covid-safe practises and adopt new ways of working that keeps our staff and customers safe, while still providing the same high level of expertise and customer service that HMK is known for.
“With our new online training programmes, our engineers can deliver the same course content entirely online, so our customers can continue to benefit from the expertise of our team of engineers, and we can continue to deliver them success.”
Amongst our first online training programmes to launch is the Siemens SINAMICS S120 / SIMOTION D Engineering Level Training Course, where the customer is able to access the training rigs remotely, sharing their screen with our trainer.
What would normally be a two-day interactive training course at our company headquarters, can now be delivered entirely online using web conferencing, additional cameras and eWON remote access technology.
Standard training programmes can be delivered across the entire Siemens SINAMICS drive and SIMOTION/SIMATIC motion controller range. We also provide bespoke training courses suited to your application across our complete product portfolio.
