HMK reopens Congleton HQ
HMK Automation’s headquarters in Congleton have now reopened in line with Government guidance.
Following the temporary closure of our head office since March, we have now taken the necessary steps to reopen the site safely and welcome back our workforce.
We’ve reviewed and updated our procedures to safely manage the reopening of the office, and implemented a series of new measures to help keep our staff and customers safe.
Nick Calow, Technical Director at HMK Automation, said: “Throughout the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, our priority has been the wellbeing of our staff, customers and partners and we moved quickly to put the necessary measures in place to keep everyone safe.
“We’ve remained fully operational throughout this period, initially supporting our teams to work from home and providing the same high level of expertise and customer service that you’d expect from HMK.
“We have adapted quickly to the changes, providing all our services remotely including training, product support, sales and design, and those remote services will continue for anyone who needs them, however, we are pleased to say that we’ve been able to reopen our offices and welcome back members of the HMK Team.”
A number of safety measures have been implemented across the office including:
Nick added: “We have a large, open plan office so we can safely social distance and we’re confident that the new measures and procedures we’ve put in place will help keep everyone safe as we adjust to the ‘new normal’, and we will of course continue to monitor and adhere to advice set out by the Government.
“While we’re continuing to offer all our services remotely, we’d urge any customers who require a site visit to get in touch and make an appointment.”
