HMK Automation & Drives has announced it's support for a new charity set up in Congleton called C4C, Congleton for Congleton.
The idea created by the people and businesses of Congleton will target £1m funding to be used as a catalyst for projects based in and around the town.
By pooling the resources of money and expertise, C4C will have the collective capacity to achieve sustainable goals within an area defined by the 01260 telephone code, the CW12 post code as well as Congleton facing villages.
From Left, Kate Hart, Ian Humphrey, Julie Purdham, Steve Purdham, Oliver Mason, Mr Doe, Carl Krajewski (HMK), and Rob Barrow.
John Doe, chairman of the group said: “C4C will raise and distribute funds to inspire, encourage and stimulate good causes, and provide a catalyst to make Congleton a better place for all.
“We are here to enable young people to achieve their potential, help start-up businesses flourish and bring people together while making life better for our older population. At the same time w ewill be backing sport to help keep Congleton fit and healthy.
“Congleton already has some great people and voluntary groups that make a real difference to people’s lives. The town’s businesses are now tapping into the resources that enable them to succeed, and through C4C they will collectively help build a more vibrant and resilient community.”
