The customer experience centre was officially opened last week by Carl Krajewski, of HMK Automation and Drives, and retired Siemens employee Bob Owen.
The facility, based at its Congleton site, is aimed at supporting the company's future growth and increasing its understanding of customers' needs. It was set up to showcase Siemens' expertise and innovation, and to help customers gain a better insight into the business. It boasts interactive work boards, display areas and an active workplace where staff and customers can work together to develop new products for the ever-changing industry.
This latest development highlights how customers and partners can work together to become more innovative, productive and flexible for today's industrial market.
Siemens transformation manager, Anil Thomas, said:
"The world is moving fast and the industry is changing, so we need to change with it to meet the demand.
This customer experience centre allows us to be able to tailor our services and products to our customers and become an integrated location for manufacturing and innovation."It will also mean we can interact and influence our customers from across the world".
