Siemens launches new distributed drive system to UK market
A powerful new distributed drive system from Siemens is now available for the UK market.
Siemens has launched the SINAMICS G115D providing an innovative all-in-one solution for distributed motion applications.
HMK Automation has been an approved partner of Siemens for more than 30 years and we’re now bringing the SINAMICS G115D to our customer-base, alongside our engineering expertise.
Patrick Tongs, Sales Director at HMK Automation, said: “We’re excited to supply the SINAMICS G115D to the UK market for the first time. It’s not just another frequency converter - it’s a complete drive system that’s been optimised for cost-efficient distributed motion and offers a wealth of benefits to our OEM customers, from its compact size to its easy installation.
“The distributed drive system is ready to run straight out the box, offering easy wiring, commissioning and servicing, and is perfect for applications where the drive system is distributed or benefits from a modular approach. Applications in the automotive, intralogistics, airport, food and beverage, pharma, general and theatre automation industries can realise the benefits.
“The combination of a motor, frequency converter and gearbox in one single unit can be easily integrated into existing automation environments, and of course, HMK customers will also benefit from the expertise of our engineering team.”
The SINAMICS G115D is available in two versions – motor mounted and surface mounted, offering a modular and versatile solution for many applications, with an innovative design to make connecting up, commissioning and servicing extremely simple.
