With the advanced KeControl C5 series, KEBA is raising the bar in automation technology. These control units feature ultra-compact, high-performance CPUs, while KEBA’s proprietary EtherCAT hardware stack minimizes jitter on the bus, enabling precise real-time communication. The interface boards are equipped with a range of standard interfaces, designed to be easily customized to specific customer requirements.

The KeControl C5 is distinguished by its highly modular design and open hardware architecture, allowing for flexible expansion. Any KEBA or customer-specific technology module can be mounted directly as an extension on the left side of the control units. On the right side, KeConnect C5 I/O modules can be added, offering enhanced functionality and adaptability for a wide array of applications.

Performance classes

The C5 series control units are available in two sizes and four distinct performance classes, capable of handling everything from standard control tasks to high-end applications requiring extensive computing power. This flexibility allows users to scale the controls precisely to the needs of their automation projects.

KEBA conducts rigorous in-house performance testing and categorize each control unit within standardized performance classes. The labelling system simplifies performance comparison, making it easy to select the ideal CPU for specific application requirements.
