Siemens BIPEX-S
The Siemens Bipex-S jaw coupling is a torsionally flexible, back-lash free coupling. As with standard industrial jaw couplings, the key benefit of the Bipex-S is its simple installation. Its simple 3-piece design mean that the coupling hubs can be fitted to each shaft and axially plugged into each other.
Made up of two cast iron or aluminium hubs and a polyurethane element the Bipex-S is capable of torques from 0.5Nm to 655Nm.
Hubs can be coupled to shafts by many different methods including set-screws, bore & key, clamping hubs or expanding hubs.
