Overview

The intelligent PSxHub is available to implement the parallel operation of positioning systems for format adjusting as efficiently as possible. The intelligent PSxHub to implement the parallel operation of positioning systems for format adjustment as efficiently as possible: as an active bus component, the smart connection element offers simple integration for up to 16 positioning systems from the PSD family (PSD 4xx with IO-Link), ensures smooth communication with the controller and is economical thanks to the single-cable solution with unshielded, standard A-coded cables, among other things. The flexibly configurable synchronization control and monitoring integrated in the PSxHub ensures synchronised parallel operation of the controlled positioning systems. As a flexible technology platform, the PSxHub enables a wider performance spectrum (e.g. in terms of power requirements and synchronization) compared to classic IO-Link hubs without a control function. With its companct housing design from 14.2 x 16.4 x 6.4 cm (control cabinet version), it is an efficient and space-saving solution for central data and power transmission. The PSxHub is available for the industrial Ethernet systems PROFINET and EtherCAT (others on request).
